GROWING YOU A MASTERPIECE

Almost100 Years ago, Rhyne Farms started as a small Cotton farm by Mr. B.C. Rhyne.  He rode on the back of a Motorcycle all the way from North Carolina in search of better land to work.  He settled in the little town of Benton, Alabama where he rented 200 acres and with hard work and a lot of ingenuity he was able to purchase the land he had been sharecropping.  His son Hoffman Rhyne Sr. started farming with Mr. B.C. in the 1930's.  Hoffman Sr. expanded the farm and built one of the best farming operations in Alabama.  His sons began farming with him in the 1970's and the farm continued to grow.In 2001, Hoffman Rhyne Jr. formed Rhyne's Select Turf. They started the company with the same principals that had made them successful in other farming practices.  "Work hard and provide the best possible product that you can". This continued commitment to quality of product and service has made Rhyne's Select Turf one of the fastest growing Turf suppliers in the Southeast.  We hope that if you are ever in the area you will stop by and tour the farm.
